More Measurement
We have been learning about how to measure and compare different objects. Today Miss Head set us a challenge and we had to find out which was the longest: the width of the door or the height of the whiteboard. We partnered up with a buddy and used different measuring tools to find out which was the longest. We were clever and used things like string, rulers, books, lego, blocks and sticks. We then had to record our findings. Can you guess which was the longest?
Look who came to visit us!
Pat's guinea pigs Saphire, fireworks and fluffy came to visit us. They ate some lettuce, carrot and some apple. Pat said that they always eat a lot! They were very cute.
Measurement
Last week we made different sized snakes out of play-doh and compared the differences between the sizes. We looked at how we could measure our snakes to determine which were the biggest, longest, shortest, fattest, skinniest, smallest, highest and the list goes on. Here are some of our wriggly snakes...
Goodbye Willem and Gretta!
Good bye to Willem and Gretta who are on their way to Holland! We will all miss you both very much. Room 4 won't be the same without you. We will see you on your return!
