Look who came to visit us today!!

Look at us feeding the chicken!

 We were all very excited!

We sat quietly to feed them.

Here are some of the comments we made:

"When Smokey pecked my hand, it felt like a bouncing ball." 

"When the chickens had to go, it was very sad."

"It was funny when the chickens ate out of my hand."

"When Smokey pecked my hand, it tickled."

"At first I was scared."

"They ruffled their wings."

"Smokey wiped her face on the newspaper because she didn't want her face to be sticky."

"I hope we can see them again."

"Everyone laughed when the hens poohed." 

Magnificent Mathematics!!

For our Maths hotspot this morning, Room 4 played a maths game where we had to solve addition facts to 10. We held out our hands to our partner and showed 1-5 fingers. We then had to count how many fingers were showing altogether. We thought this would be a really fun game to play at home!

Room 4 thought it would be a great idea to take a photo of our whole class, to show you all of our bubbly and smiley faces. We are all ready for an action packed and challenging year, where we will learn heaps of new and exciting skills. Here we come!!!!!

Fun, Fantastic Fitness!!

Our Junior Syndicate had lots of fun this morning doing relays. We got lots of exercise and had heaps of fun!! Look at us hopping and jumping!!

Look at us hopping with our hands above our heads. Aren't we clever!!

We also had to walk back to our team, taking big giant steps!!

Look How Sun Smart We Are!!

On our first day back at school, we made sure we wore our hats in the playground at lunchtime. At Normandale School we are all sun smart!!!
