When I grow up...

After Miss Head graduated, we started thinking about how exciting our own futures are going to be and we wrote about what we wanted to be when we grew up. Here are our fabulous stories we wrote...


"When I grow up I want to be a scientist because I want to learn lots and lots. Then I will know why volcanoes erupt and why some snakes are poisonous and why crabs have an exoskeleton."

"When I grow up I want to be a teacher because I am intelligent, nice and a good learner. I’m like a teacher at home. I teach my Mum and Dad maths and things. When I am a teacher my name will be Miss Capel."

Ella

"When I grow up I want to be a horse rider because I want to give horses exercise. Plus I love all of the horses in the world. I can’t wait till I’m grown up."

Caitlyn

"When I grow up, I want to be a builder. I want to be a builder because I want to get money and build a house for my family. Another reason is because when builders come to our house, it is interesting looking at them build. I could fix things on our house and build more things onto it. I bet it’ll be very cool to be a builder when I grow up."

Jimmy

"When I grow up I want to be a rock star because I’m learning the guitar. Today is Tuesday, the day I have my guitar lesson. I would like to be a rock star because it would be fun!"

"When I’m older I want to be a policeman because my uncle was a policeman. Policeman can arrest people."

"When I grow up I want to be a teacher because I can help people learn and skip count. Being a teacher is a lot of hard work so if you are going to be a teacher you have to put a lot of work into it. I think being a teacher is quite fun and that is why I want to be a teacher."

"When I grow up I want to be a DJ because you can do forwards flips and backwards flips and beat-boxing."

"When I grow up I want to be a teacher. I want to be a teacher because I want to teach children so I can help them. I will be a great teacher and my name is going to be Mr Keeys. I will be 24 years old."

"When I grow up into a grownup I want to teach people how to make cars like my dad. I want to help people to make cars because I like cars a lot. I also like engines too. I think that it is clever how all of the wires control the car. The control panels can be any colour you know! I think that it is controlled by fuel. It’s cool."

"When I grow up I want to be a truck driver. I like trucks. Trucks are excellent. I have a little truck."

"When I grow up I want to be a fireman at the airport so I can squirt out fire. I want to help people who are in trouble."

"When I grow up I want to be a dancer because I love dancing. I love dancing because I dance at home."

"When I grow up I want to be a pro dancer because I like dancing. My friend Bridget will be my helper friend."

"When I grow up I want to be a McDonalds man because I like making food and baking food. I like McDonalds. It’s really yummy. Sometimes it has cheese in it."

"When I grow up I want to be a racing car driver, so that I can race other people. I think its cool to race people. When I grow up and get a racing car, I will add new things onto the car when I get it. It will be fun."
